About Me

It took five years before I had my first ‘eureka’ moment.

Fresh out of medical school in 1989, I followed a dual course for the first five years: Working as an RMO by night and training in homeopathy with the AFAC Homeopathic Charitable Trust (Mumbai) by day.

To sate my thirst for holistic medicine, I also practised homeopathy part-time in polyclinics, private hospitals and received valuable on-ground experience while working with economically challenged communities in the aftermath of the 1991 Bombay riots.

But it was my decade-long association (1989 to 1998) with the school of homeopathy founded by renowned practitioner Dr Rajan Sankaran that laid the foundation for a deeper understanding of this healing science. Receiving a thorough grounding in Case Taking, which is the fulcrum of homeopathy, I further honed my skills while taking lectures, training sessions and conducting workshops in India and the US.

The year 1994 was a turning point: Though I cut my teeth on alloapthy, I now renounced the discipline altogether and set out in pursuit of homeopathy full-time.

I turned the next corner in 1998, when I joined Dr Praful Vijayakar’s Predictive School of Homeopathy. Exposure to Dr Vijaykar’s Chart of Suppression, his understanding of Miasma and the human Genetic Constitution set me on the path to treating incurable diseases. It opened a whole new dimension in this wonderful healing way.

Under the aegis of the Predictive School, I spread Dr Vikaykar’s school of homeopathy to medical students, specialists and super-specialists in countries such as the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Russia, Croatia and Israel. My association with the Predictive School continues to date.

• European School of Homeopathy (Edicta) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
• Recorded in the history of Bulgaria’s homeopathy as the first Indian woman homeopath to conduct a seminar in that country
  
• Lectured at Akademie for Homeopathic, Munich, Germany.
  
• Expert Lecturer at Manasam, Brazil, at an international meet on mental health.

Also, courses and workshops with students of homeopathy across India and addressing varied types of audiences at national seminars further broadened by own view and deepened my own insight into the realm of homeopathy.

The human mind is a central factor influencing all types of holistic medicine, and in my search for completion, I finally acquired a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in (Mental Health) from the University of Mumbai in 2004.

But as a healer, one’s journey is never really complete. Thus, with deep exposure to diametrically opposite schools of homeopathy and 21 years of constantly fine-tuning my own intuitive understanding of human nature, health and disease, I founded MindHeal Homeopathy in September 2009.
